I guess i'm the 20 something years who never got to meet someone who travelled for a living and find all this out!!! I too travel and at the end of the day there are pros and cons to everything but I can't imagine not being on the road at least for some part of my job. The amazing people you meet alone is enough to keep me doing this,. I also realized that I ENJOY my time alone and that's something that can so easily be taken away from you if your not able to just get away !!! When I travel I get to get-away a bit and spend time with myself that I've never before taken the time to do. Lastly, I would tell any out-of-college 20 something year old that when you get the opportunity you have to RUN with it, because others will soon come creeping along.
